WHY?

This Memphis Mayoral Race is a joke. The joke is on the citizens of Memphis. How did we get to this point of becoming a national prank. I feel like we are apart of the past MTV show Punk. The characters that a running for mayor, the bickering, grandstanding, is more than overwhelming.

Memphis problems are HUGE we don't have time for the pettiness of it all. Let me point them out for those who think this entertainment is funny: Memphis City Schools failing and even if the schools are not on the failing list we are currently below the national average. I do have an issue with Memphis City School Parents not participating in the school board meetings that directly affect their children. How could or would you continue to choose a superintend that is NOT invested into our city or children? How can a outsider be more concern with your child than you are? Can you name one superintend that has created a successful program that was NOT from Memphis? Here's a idea why don't we choose a superintend from the business sector in Memphis that has a proven track record. Memphis City Schools should be handled with a business point of view perhaps: create a teacher panel, dismember the school board, choose a panel of parents from each school, each panel will have meetings and directly report to the superintend. We are hurting as city within our schools, crime, communities, health care, and unemployment. WE should all be in crisis mode and damage control.

One person can not change this city WE have to change our mindset!!!!
